Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 27, 2026

This policy explains what information Proud Little Learners collects, why we collect it, and who we share it with. We wrote it in plain words on purpose.

"We," "us," and "our" mean [OWNER: legal business name], a [OWNER: state of formation] [OWNER: business type, e.g. sole proprietorship / LLC], doing business as Proud Little Learners. Our website is https://proudlittlelearners.com.

1. The short version

  • This website is for parents and other adults. It is not made for children to use.
  • We collect as little as we can. You can look at the whole site without giving us your name or email.
  • When you buy, Payhip runs the checkout and sends your files. Card payments go through Stripe or PayPal. We never see or store your full card number.
  • We do not sell your personal information.
  • If we turn on the Meta Pixel, it helps us see whether our Facebook and Instagram ads lead to sales. You can limit this (see section 6).

We do not ask for your child's name, age, school, photo, or any other details about your child. Please do not send them to us.

3. How we use your information

We use it to:

  • sell you the packs you choose and deliver your files;
  • run the weekly plan: bill you each month, post new packets, and let you cancel;
  • send receipts, download links, and messages about your order or plan;
  • answer your questions and fix problems with files;
  • handle refunds, stop fraud, and keep the site secure;
  • follow the law, including tax and record-keeping rules;
  • if the Meta Pixel is on, measure whether our ads work and show our ads to people likely to be interested.

We will only send you marketing emails if you say yes. You can say no at any time by using the unsubscribe link or by emailing us. Even if you say no to marketing, we still send emails about your order or plan.

4. Who we share information with

We share information only with the services that help us run the store:

We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or someone's safety, or if our business is sold or merged (the new owner would have to follow this policy).

We do not sell your personal information. We do not give our customer list to other companies for their own marketing.

5. The Meta Pixel (ad measurement)

We may use the Meta Pixel, a small piece of code from Meta (the company behind Facebook and Instagram). We use it for ad measurement: to count how many people who saw our ads later visited, started a checkout, or bought, and to show our ads to people who might want them.

When it is on, the Pixel can send Meta things like: the page you viewed, the button you clicked, your IP address, browser details, and cookie IDs. Meta may match this to your Facebook or Instagram account. Payhip's checkout pages also use our Pixel ID, so Meta may learn that a purchase happened and its amount. If we send purchase details to Meta from our sales records, we send your email only in a scrambled ("hashed") form.

Meta uses this information under its own policy: https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy

6. Your choices

  • Ads: You can change how Meta uses your activity for ads at https://accountscenter.facebook.com/ad_preferences, and you can turn off "activity from ad partners." You can also learn more and opt out of interest-based ads from many companies at https://optout.aboutads.info.
  • Cookies: You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site and checkout still work for buying.
  • Emails: Use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.
  • Your data: You can ask us what personal information we have about you, ask us to fix it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@proudlittlelearners.com. We will answer within 30 days. Some information, like sales records, we must keep for tax and legal reasons even if you ask us to delete it.

Some US states give their residents extra privacy rights. We will honor requests from any US resident as described above, whether or not your state's law applies to a business our size.

7. Children's privacy

Proud Little Learners sells printable worksheets to parents, guardians, and teachers. Our website and checkout are meant for adults 18 and older.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Children do not need to use our website to use the worksheets: an adult buys, downloads, and prints them. If you believe a child under 13 has sent us personal information, email hello@proudlittlelearners.com and we will delete it.

8. How long we keep information

  • Order and payment records: as long as tax and accounting rules require, usually up to 7 years. Payhip keeps its own transaction records under its policy.
  • Weekly plan consent and cancellation records: at least 3 years, or 1 year after your plan ends, whichever is longer, because subscription laws require it.
  • Support emails: up to 3 years, then deleted unless still needed for an open issue.

9. Keeping information safe

We use trusted companies for payments and delivery, we keep our accounts protected with strong passwords and two-step sign-in, and we only look at your information when we need to. No system is perfectly safe, so we cannot promise that information will never be exposed. If a data breach affects you, we will tell you when the law requires it.

10. Where information is stored

We are based in the United States. Our providers may store and process information in the United States, the United Kingdom, the European Union, and other countries.

11. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here and change the "Last updated" date. If a change is big, we will also tell customers by email or with a notice on the site.
